I know the Danube Delta like no one else. Since 2006 I have been helping people discover this wonderful and unique place without disturbing the environment or animals that live here. The Delta is a special place and I invite you to find out.

4-Day Danube Delta: Birds, Letea Village & Lakes [Group Trip]
Overall, a brilliant trip. The Danube Delta is beautiful and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys nature, birds and other wildlife. A wonderfully peaceful and tranquil place. We saw abundant species of birds and plants. Plenty of trips on the delta itself, at all times of the day, so you get to see birds etc at feeding time, nesting time etc. Sunrise tour also on offer. The last day was spent visiting Letea, a traditional village (where we had a delicious lunch), and visiting a forest and sand dune areas. Our two guides (Julian and Cosmin) were very knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly. We were in a group of 12, so small enough to get to know each other well during the trip. Our accommodation was basic, but clean and we had a spacious bathroom. Food was simple, but fresh and plentiful. Based on local river fish, but other choices were available.

The Danube Delta trip connects you with nature and leads you with a feeling of wonderment. The bird life and vegetation are amazing. The staff assist in better appreciating how wonderful this part of the world is. The sunsets and sunrises are to die for and the local food is fantastic. You must experience this very special opportunity.

The Danube Delta Tour was the highlight of our visit to Romania. The richness of nature and especially the abundance of rare bird species is beyond comparison in the rest of Europe. The tour was well-organized and the guesthouse was really cozy and well-kept. The breakfast and dinner were amazing - simple but fresh and lots of fish. The village was bigger than we imagined and there are a few places where we could enjoy the sunset and have a drink. The tour shows all aspects of the delta including the local culture. If you are more into bird watching the tour can be a little fast. Also pay attention to proper clothing and equipment (for rain and sun) and don't forget the binocular!

Romanian Friend were very helpful in planning our trip, and gave us useful advice as well as organising our transfer to the start of our trip. Our tour of the Danube Delta was really fascinating - we saw lots of beautiful birds, and ate a wide variety of very tasty fish!

Was absolutely wonderful. Probably we were lucky with the weather. And also with the company. And especially with our guide Viktor, 10 out of 10 for Viktor. As well as being great at pointing out the flora and fauna, also fascinating account of the history of the Delta. So, highly recommended tour, thanks!

Guide was amazing, he had knowledge and was excellent at spotting birds etc. One negative aspect - too much fish in the meals. The local cuisine is delicious but fish heavy and if you're not a big fan or used to it, it may be too much...

The Danube Delta was beautiful and our accommodation was perfect. We saw many birds and our guide was very knowledgeable. Our booking through Romanian friend was an easy process and we loved meeting Romanians.

We worked with Romanian Friend to organize a private tour of the Danube Delta, which we really enjoyed. What we liked about Romanian Friend is their role as a curator of interesting, high-quality Romania-related experiences as well as the brokering with the right tour companies. The tour itself was well organized. We were able to see beautiful wildlife as well as explore the inhabited parts of the Delta, and we were well taken care of throughout. Highly recommend!

Using Romanian Friend to book this Danube Delta tour was easy and the accommodation at Mila 23 and itinerary of this tour was very good! The Delta is a magical place and we saw parts we couldn't have on our own. The guide was a real local and he had very good knowledge of all the birds and wildlife in the area which we saw on all our boat trips. Very good tour, would highly recommend!
